BSCI CODE OF CONDUCT

  • The BSCI Code of Conduct is based on numerous international agreements:
  • the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)
  • the Guidelines on Children’s Rights and Corporate Activity
  • the United Nations Guidelines on „Economy and Human Rights“
  • the OECD Guidelines
  • the UN Global Compact
  • the Conventions and Recommendations of the International Labor Organization (ILO)

  • Objectives of the BSCI-Code of conduct
  • freedom in the society and collective bargaining
  • no discrimination
  • legal minimum and company wages are paid
  • working hours are in conformity with national legislation and do not exceed the 48 hours of normal working hours and 12 hours of overtime
  • the workplace is safe and healthy
  • child labour is prohibited
  • a policy of social responsibility
  • no forced labour
  • the environment is respected
  • a policy against bribery and corruption

APS & BSCI

All BSCI participants undertake to implement the BSCI Code of Conduct in their supply chain. This Code contains the guidelines which companies have to fulfil. These guidelines are based on the most important international agreements for the protection of labor rights of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the United Nations (UN). BSCI provides companies with practical management tools to implement the BSCI Code of Conduct, monitoring, auditing and improving working conditions in the supply chain.

Eine weltweite Lieferkette ist heutzutage eine Selbstverständlichkeit.
